A different kind of stay
Designed as art. Made to feel like home.
Casa Toro is not another anonymous rental. Every colour, curve and artwork was chosen by its builder-designer owners to celebrate the character of this corner of Spain.
Wake slowly on your private balcony, cook with market ingredients in the sculptural kitchen, then end the day beneath the stars on the rooftop terrace.
Two expressive bedrooms, each with its own balcony.
Thoughtful lighting, premium linens and quiet corners make both rooms feel private and restorative.

The Casa Toro experience
A designer home. A living old town.
Inspired by local festivals, colours and customs, Casa Toro was created by a builder-designer couple with a passion for treating design as art.
01
Holiday in our designer home
Inside, hand-selected art and elegant furnishings shape a cosy living space. Cleverly designed sleeping areas create a feeling of openness, while the crafted kitchen, luxurious beds and private bedroom balconies make everyday moments feel special.
Up on the terrace, open-air Spanish living comes naturally: slow breakfasts, warm evenings and stars above the rooftops of historic Calpe.

Unforgettable experiences
Step outside into narrow streets, small squares, colourful mosaics and centuries of history. The old town carries traces of Phoenician, Greek, Roman and Moorish life, with restaurants, tapas bars and the weekly Saturday market close by.
Walk to Arenal-Bol beach, explore the architecture of La Manzanera, or climb the Rock of Ifach for sweeping views across the Mediterranean.

More than the beach
A town of colour, culture and contrast.
Beyond the shoreline, Calpe moves between flower-filled old-town lanes, vivid Spanish architecture and the dramatic outline of the Penon de Ifach.

332metres above the sea
Calpe's essential adventure
Hike the Penon de Ifach.
Walk from the Mediterranean shore to the summit of Calpe's iconic limestone rock for wide-open views across the Costa Blanca.
01
To the tunnel
A steady, well-made path climbs through the natural park to the rock-cut tunnel and its first coastal viewpoints.
02
Beyond the tunnel
The summit section is steeper and more exposed, with polished rock underfoot. Good footwear and a head for heights are essential.
03
The summit
Reach the 332-metre peak for a memorable panorama over Calpe, the surrounding mountains and the Mediterranean.
Summit access is regulated. Check current park conditions and reserve before your visit.
A curious Calpe resident
Did you know?
The Rock has its own cats.
Small colonies of cats have made their home among the cliffs and crevices of the Penon de Ifach.
Hikers may spot them sunbathing on warm ledges, resting in quiet corners or moving confidently across the rugged terrain. Their unexpected presence has become one of the rock's most charming local stories.
Admire from a distanceThe rock is a protected and fragile habitat. Avoid feeding or approaching the cats, and follow current park guidance.
